BIO OF Shahriar Hasan Mridha
Shahriar Hasan Mridha is a visionary architect, researcher, and innovator from Bangladesh, holding a B. Arch. from Southeast University (SEU) and currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS at Jahangirnagar University. As the Founder and Principal Researcher at Mridha’s Research Center (MRC), Dhaka, he specializes in heritage conservation, Mughal and colonial architecture, sustainable urban renewal, and the integration of geospatial technologies with AI for resilient design. With a prolific portfolio of publications and collaborative projects, Shahriar bridges historical analysis with modern computational tools, contributing to the preservation and revitalization of Bangladesh’s architectural legacy. His mission is to empower communities through research-driven solutions that address climate challenges, urban encroachment, and cultural erosion, while training the next generation of scholars in interdisciplinary innovation and ethical technology application.
